These SDE-series dual-axis slew drives combine slewing-ring support, a worm drive train and a closed housing into a ready-to-install positioning module. The listed range includes SDE3, SDE7 and SDE17 configurations with dedicated elevation and horizontal axes. Each axis is paired with a 24 VDC motor.
Listed applications include solar tracking equipment, engineering vehicles and automation systems. The SDE3 configuration provides a rated output speed of 0.048 rpm and output torque of 614 N·m on both axes. Each axis uses a 62:1 slew-drive gear ratio and has listed tracking precision of ≤0.2°.
Static axial ratings are 30 kN for both axes;static radial ratings are 15 kN for elevation and 16.6 kN for horizontal operation. The SDE7 configuration uses different ratios and operating values for its two axes.
